Built for Zero

Built for Zero is a national movement of over 80 communities actively working toward reaching “functional zero,” or ending homelessness using a data-driven approach. In 2019, several community partners throughout Northeast Florida, including homeless services providers, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and local government, teamed up to form the regional chapter for Built for Zero.

As the team’s data communications specialist, I developed and executed both internal and external communications strategies to engage partner agencies, local landlords, and the public in our work. I built and managed the Northeast Florida Built for Zero website and designed and distributed collateral for community events, including the quarter card seen below.
